Biosph\u00e4renreservat Rh\u00f6n und eines von zwei Mooren in Naturschutzgebiet \u201eBischofswaldung mit Stedtlinger Moor\u201c. Er ist durch Verlandung eines Erdfallsees entstanden und nach der FFH-Richtlinie als <strong>\u00dcbergangs- und Schwingrasenmoor (7140)<\/strong> kartiert. Wie auch das nahegelegene Stedtlinger Moor wird er ma\u00dfgeblich durch zuflie\u00dfendes Oberfl\u00e4chenwasser gespeist.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Um die Fl\u00e4che landwirtschaftlich nutzbar zu machen, und das angrenzende Gr\u00fcnland zu erweitern hat man in der Vergangenheit ein <strong>Entw\u00e4sserungsgraben<\/strong> angelegt. Dieser bedroht den Erhaltungszustand der sensiblen Moorflora und -fauna, denn <strong>Moor\u00f6kosysteme k\u00f6nnen nur funktionieren, wenn ihr Wasserhaushalt intakt ist<\/strong>. Torfmoose, Binsen und Seggen machen den Gro\u00dfteil der Moorflora aus. Als feuchteliebende Pflanzen ben\u00f6tigen sie ganzj\u00e4hrig oberfl\u00e4chennahe Wasserst\u00e4nde. Entw\u00e4sserungsgr\u00e4ben jedoch senken diese und lassen so den Aufwuchs von B\u00e4umen und Str\u00e4uchern zu \u2013 das Moor verbuscht und Habitate spezialisierter Arten, wie dem Rundbl\u00e4ttrige Sonnentau (<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Drosera rotundifolia<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">) verschwinden. Deshalb gilt es den <strong>Graben dauerhaft zu verschlie\u00dfen<\/strong>, um langfristig den <strong>Wasserhaushalt zu stabilisieren<\/strong> und die Rahmenbedingungen f\u00fcr eine weitere Entwicklung des Moores zu sichern. Auf Basis eines hydrologischen Gutachtens aus den Jahren 2022\/23 plant die Station nun mit einem Grabenverschluss die Entw\u00e4sserung zu stoppen und das anfallende Wasser in der Fl\u00e4che zu halten. Hierf\u00fcr wird eine Stahlspundwand verwendet, da die Wasserst\u00e4nde stark schwanken und Holz, ein oft verwendeter Werkstoff im Moor, hier schnell verrotten w\u00fcrde. Wiedervern\u00e4sste Moore k\u00f6nnen gro\u00dfe Mengen an Kohlenstoff speichern und beherbergen somit nicht nur seltene Tieren und Pflanzen, sondern leisten auch einen aktiven Beitrag zum
